A short, focused appointment for owners seeking a knowledgeable second opinion before deciding on any work. The watch is examined at the bench, placed briefly on the timing machine, and checked for visible condition concerns. A written assessment follows.
A bench service tailored to the specific movement family, using techniques and parts selected for the maker and era. Suited to watches five years or more without attention — full disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, reassembly, and timing regulation.
A detailed restoration for watches of historical interest, accompanied by archive and catalogue research. Appropriate finish, dial layout, and movement specification are confirmed from period documents. Findings are compiled into a small folder that travels with the watch.

After a caliber service, the watch is kept for observation to confirm stable timekeeping before it is returned. Speed is not the priority here.
Heritage restoration work is accompanied by a small research folder. The paper trail that travels with the watch adds to its provenance record.

Questions
A Service Assessment Appointment is a straightforward starting point if you are unsure. After examining the piece, we can explain clearly what we observe and discuss whether a refresh or restoration would be appropriate — or whether, in some cases, nothing needs doing at all.
Most caliber refresh services are completed within two to three weeks, including the observation period after reassembly. We will give you a more specific estimate once we have seen the movement. If the piece requires sourcing particular materials, the timeline may be slightly longer, and we will let you know in advance.
We focus on mechanical movements — manual-wind and automatic — across a range of makers and eras. The heritage restoration service is particularly suited to pre-1970 pieces and watches with notable provenance. We do not service quartz movements or electronic watch systems.
The assessment appointment is a standalone service — it carries its own fee regardless of what follows. We mention this because we want the advice you receive to be straightforward and uninfluenced by any commercial consideration. If you choose to proceed with further work, that is priced separately.
It typically includes notes on the caliber's production period, references to the correct dial layout and case finish for the year, copies or summaries of relevant catalogue pages consulted, and a brief description of the restoration steps taken. The folder is prepared by hand and is sized to travel with the watch or be kept with related ownership documents.
